The Coverage Gap Working Group

At the conclusion of the legislative session in March, House Speaker Bedke promised to form a legislative workgroup to consider solutions for the 78,000 Idahoans trapped in the health coverage gap. The group, whose members were named in June, will have its first meeting this Wednesday, July 20 at 9 am. The public is welcome to attend. It will also be available by streaming online. Several important articles have appeared on the issue recently, including an Idaho Statesman article which touched on the implications of the coverage gap on the state’s fiscal health
